Someone said that some of the inner-workings, control chips, etc are better – maybe that is so, but I haven’t noticed a difference in performance with it. The GT-3TP Mark III Baofeng radio works well and the battery seems to last a long time. Has good power and pretty good battery life considering the power. Quality for the price is good, it does what it's designed to do. The battery life is good too. Overall a very solid build. This is a nice deal with the extra life battery.

Sep 02, 2016 · Hello, I'm a total noob with radios, and I'm a bit lost with the new radios I just got. It's a pair of Baofeng GT-3TP. I did a test this morning, I could barely talk to my friend with the other GT3-TP at only one mile. The signal monitor on the screen was only 2 bars, sometimes 3. Conversation was possible but a bit difficult. OK, I'm in a suburban, I was in a car while she was in the house in Baofeng GT-3TP MkIII review. Quality for the price is good, it does what it's designed to do. The battery life is good too. Overall a very solid build. This is a nice deal with the extra life battery. If you didn't read that review, you might want to do so before continuing. OK, I'm in a suburban, I was in a car while she was in the house in Baofeng GT-3 Dual band ( First impression ) and there is no noticeable difference from my other baofeng radios .. Bear in mind the GT-3 sells from about $60 to $80 USD , making it not the most cost effective baofeng . old4570 it looks like you have the Mark II version - they have a Mark III now.
